In his memoir, the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, recounts the tale of his "painfully awkward" first date with ex-girlfriend, Cressida Bonas. He candidly admits that his attempt at a goodnight kiss was met with failure as his "aim was off," leading to an embarrassing "graze" rather than a romantic embrace.
Adding to his mortification, he called his cousin, Princess Eugenie, the following day to share the anecdote, only to discover that Cressida had already relayed the events to her. As he recounts in his book, "Disencouraged, I told her the date had gone well but the ending had left something to be desired. She didn't disagree. She'd already spoken to Cressida. She sighed. Awkward."
